Mentoring is to support and encourage people to manage their own learning in order that they may maximize their potential, develop skills, improve performance and become the person they want to be.
As students at COB prepare to enter the working world, they need every tool available to prepare them to progress in their careers and become vibrant contributors to the development of our economy. Mentors give these students the skills and confidence to become the best they can be.
Being a mentor gives you the potential to change a person's life, contribute to society and enhance your own interpersonal skills. Being a Mentor returns to you as much as you give out.
